Smart solutions with web shop
Integrated web shop
Many companies today have a web shop. The focus has often been on design and the user’s experience and a lot of money has been invested in getting the customer to the web shop. However, many missed the importance of having control over their stock balance and their purchases as well as how orders can allocate balance in the “right” order. Setting up a functioning supply chain is not easy but should not be underestimated, it reduces the capital tied up and, not least, gives satisfied customers. The XTND Platform helps you control your stock balance so the right balance is displayed in the web shop (s) and to have the right / optimal inventory levels. It streamlines and professionalises purchasing and communication with suppliers.
How does it work?
- When orders are created by the customer in the online store, it is sent to the XTND application.
- Order status for webshop / customer interface, updated by warehouse operations in your or your third-party logistics warehouse and automatically sent to the webshop
- Order sent status incl. TnT information with the transmission number is sent to the web shop / customer interface immediately when the event occurs on the warehouse. In this way, the customer can track their delivery.
- Stock balance is updated continuously from stock to web shop.
With Extend Commerce ready-made API integrations to the large platforms, your web shop integrates with Extend Commerce at a fixed price.
Standard integration based on the Shopify’s API. Extend Commerce has built in flexibility around, among other things, which status should trigger the integration. When an order is placed in Shopify, a real-time update of balance is triggered, which means that the balance shown in the eCommerce platform is always correct. The information from Shopify is forwarded to an external warehouse for balancing or finance systems for invoicing and matching / settlement against Klarna, Stripe etc. This is matched via separate API via external supplier.
