EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
Although new formats and message types are becoming more common, traditional Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is still the most widely used in the exchange of information between systems. Extend Commerce has extensive experience of EDI and via our EDI switch we currently handle most of the existing EDI messages, both incoming and outgoing globally (EDI differs in some parts between EMEA and US). As a customer you can either use our finished EDI messages, but we also build customer-specific integrations. We can integrate into all systems in many different formats. Like EDIFact, XML and text. How we communicate is also often different and we work with several different formats and communication methods.

API
Extend Commerce makes it easy to connect different systems via APIs (Application Programming Interface). Needed real-time exchange of information is APIs: a superior technology and Extend Commerce has standard connections to many different web shops, business systems and large industry players. It is a priority and central part of our strategy to make it easy to integrate systems and we continuously expand the number of APIs. Examples are: Magento, Magneto 2, WooCommerce, Shopify, Fortnox, Ongoing. Many also integrate towards our API. Examples, such as Askås, Jetshop, Shopbox and Minuba.

Fortnox

Ongoing
Ongoing is the most common WMS used by third-party logistics in Sweden. Through our connection to Ongoing, customers can easily integrate their external warehouse, which makes it possible to sync the stock to Extend Commerce regarding communication during order placement and feedback from Ongoing during stock events. Shopify
Standard integration based on the Shopify’s API. Extend Commerce has built in flexibility around, among other things, which status should trigger the integration. When an order is placed in Shopify, a real-time update of balance is triggered, which means that the balance shown in the eCommerce platform is always correct. The information from Shopify is forwarded to an external warehouse for balancing or finance systems for invoicing and matching / settlement against Klarna, Stripe etc. This is matched via separate API via external supplier. WooCommerce

Point of Sale
POS is a sales channel that can be integrated with Extend Commerce Together with Shopbox, Extend cCommerce reates a solution with integration for customer, order and inventory syncing. When you connect your store with the ERP appl., the inventory can be displayed and used in addition to the usual store.
